this development has no major frills, but is still ohh soo scrumptious!

This one is finally nearing completion at 501 9th Avenue.

I see a Vituvian Trifecta here: Usefulness, Solidity & Beauty.

As the official online “Vitruvian Triad GUY” I know it when I see it - this is IT. :innocent:

I am actually not sure about the solidity/firmness/quality of the construction: but the Beauty & Usefulness is apparent - thanks to all the great photos/comments/links found on this thread.

I have come to a rather simple (perhaps boring) descriptor for Beauty in Architectural Design; and it can be simply summed up as NOT UGLY. - or better not boring.

More precisely, I look for some degree of ARTISTRY in regard to the aesthetics. If the design goes above-and-beyond generic/building standard: it is then IMHO ‘artful’ architecture. That leaves me with a simple binary: artful architecture OR not artful architecture.

So, that being said; this one is winner - ARTFUL Architecture For sure…

Yours truly - The Vitruvian Triad Guy.

Reminds me of 175 Park Avenue’s crown if it was art deco

The white cladding definitely looks better than the gray.
