Where’s the glass?

Only on the base podium. It’s cheap and mediocre.

Is there are problem here?

Glass installation was supposed to begin back in November, I haven’t the faintest clue what is going on here. Possible disagreement between developer and contractor? Financing problems? Who knows.

Saw the crane moving briefly once last week, but still looks stalled overall. They keep moving these around on the adjacent site they use for storage. Any idea what they are?

This should be detonated. They missed their chance

This may turn out to be fantastic if the end result looks anything like this rendering. It may be a work of capital “A” Architecture: but at this point it is looking more like a “C” for CaCa…

Disassembled you mean. You are not allowed to blow up buildings in NYC.

Also we’ll see. It doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere currently so that’s a possibility. There’s alao the possibility it just sits there

The two things that might redeem this building are the glass facade and the fact that other buildings will eventually abut the blank walls. The first point is up in the air (it’s entirely possible they’ll botch the facade) but the other parcels on this block will inevitably be developed and cover those huge blank walls.

Finally!
