I recall that 341 Madison will be relatively small too for a tower that’s 1000’ tall. Does anyone know the sf that it will have?
No idea about the sqft, but the wind tunnel tests are showing a smaller tower
It’s about 830k sf.
343 Madison is 844’ tall, with a revised ~750K GSF of area compared to this one’s ~335K GSF (~285K ZSF) of area.
You may have previously believed this one to be much bigger due to the renders, which make it look so due to the distorted perspective, but this one is on a lot half the size of 343 Madison’s and of course is shorter.
As far as the wind tunnel model goes, it’s relatively still the same, just shorter with some minor setback configurations. The height decrease was finalized though, it’s no longer under review.
I recall that it might be shortened. I wonder if the design has changed at all. This tower sorely needs a crown. The crown and setbacks make 520 Fifth. This proposed tower looks mundane.

Yes. I thought that my first post was still a draft. Have you seen renderings of the shorter version? Shorter is fine with me because it’s w pretty bland tower.
I don’t believe any new/updated renders have been posted/released, but the massing diagram shows the same exact design just shorter.

Small, but this has a nice design. The underground connections will be great as well. But I think the best part may just be being this close to 270 Park Avenue lol
This would be the fourth tallest building in my state. It will be completely dwarfed sitting next to 270 Park. Love the design though. Very airy, wonderful connections to Grand Central Madison, and the view of its massive neighbor will be great. (Also tenants here will be able to use 270 Park´s plazas.
does anyone know anything about this project, because its just been a whole in the ground for a year.
