Wow even the pictures show how daring its height is. I do wonder if there will be demand for this project. It is located against the highway and you have to go underneath to get the subway.

I saw it peeking out when traveling south towards the Harlem River Lift Bridge on the Metro North New Haven Line. It’s pretty big in person indeed

Wow, those apartments won’t have a view of the Deegan as they’ll be staring at the back of the billboard.

Just as bad as looking at the back of a billboard from the multimillion dollar apartments at Lantern House.
I’ll bet that billboard will come down prior to occupancy.

This is a guess but I would assume the billboard pays rent to the landowner, which is now the developer of this project. So it makes sense for revenue purposes to keep it up until the completion of the building.

If this building is rental he’ll make more $ on the billboard and probably offer a discount to affected apartments.
