Made a rendering looking up at this tower from Park Avenue – I quite like the Manhattan West vibe:
And the previous two designs from the same angle:
tbh i like the current design the best.
More towers for the best city in the world.
Age of Ramses
Amazing render!
Get it built already. It is taking too long.
People on SSP are calling this iconic. I will respect their opinion…but I do not see that at all
Maybe if it was 1600 feet. I could see it soaring above the others like a knife. Unfortunately its height now means its just the uglier twin brother of 270 Park.
These two supertall have to arrive at the same time.

just a few short months ago you posted the below. what changed to make it suddenly ugly other than it being a little shorter?
“I actually really like its simplicity. It soars, almost blade of grass into the sky. Id imagine it being an intimidating contrast/compliment to 270 Park with its blue glass vs the brownish/black of 270.”
The height changed
“…other than it being a little shorter?”
Reading comprehension is not your strongest suit ![]()
It remains a very tall, imposing building!
wtf are you talking about? It is a little shorter than the original proposed height. If you’re going to go after someone for reading comprehension I suggest you walk into the bathroom and take a good look at yourself.
Geez! re read my post which is a reply to “s2000”
I’ll admit “ugly” is a little hyperbolic, but the awe factor is meh now; the height being a large factor. At 1600’ it would’ve been the tallest tower in the city, towering over 270 and its surroundings. Currently, its just another building in the supertall plateau on Park Ave. I think the design only benefits from being above the crowd. Nobody would look twice at CPT if it was 800 feet.
lol my bad. I thought that was to me ![]()
I mean, he cited the height being changed which was adressed in your post .
It looks like a mere 100ft of change, it’s still a very cool tower and it’s definitely not why it should be considered “ugly”. If anything - it keeps the spotlight for 175 Park Avenue to become 2nd tallest in our hemisphere.
lol that’s fine I was just curious more than anything since design beauty isn’t necessarily based on the height. I’m disappointed that it isn’t 1600 but it’s still a nice addition to the skyline and it will in fact be imposing from many vantage points. There will always be more buildings that are taller in the future so don’t despair.
