These photos appear to have been taken last last Sunday (the 15th) an extensive amount of work has already been done in that time frame relative to what is shown in the images.

A Favco luffer will go up mid July, per FAA fillings.

Will two of the three cranes be erecting the steel frame while the third works on installing the facade?

It’s a handsome albeit boring box without the height to cause creamy jeans. So what.
If I have any complaint, it would be that they aren’t taking the opportunity to clad the MTA ventilation building between this and Yale in matching facade and make it completely disappear. That would have been savvy and smart design on their part and I’ve seen no evidence they’re planning on it.

No, there is never a crane erected solely to install the facade, which is mainly installed by spider cranes on the floors.
@NeverForgiveAction the vent building here was not designed for an overclad like those at HYs, so no, the concept was not taken into account because its not possible to do in this instance.
BXP also does not have ownership of the vent building, which is on its own lot and not an easement as those at HY.

I guess I would have thought some coordination/collaboration would have been obvious regarding the vent building, given the GCT entrance being part of the project already requiring a MTA-Developer relationship. Too much to ask for I guess.

The vent building was built several years prior to BXP leasing the site, so collaboration on it’s design or incorporation into the tower at that point was not possible.
Again, this vent building is not similar in a zoning manner to those at HY, no developer would have been able to “conceal” the building in general. The developer, whether it be BXP or some one else, having a relationship with the MTA due to the fact that the project has a connection to Grand Central Madison has no bearing on the vent building.

There’s been lots of progress on the ESA entrance as it’s nearing opening. This will all ofcourse come down for the tower (the exterior not the interior).
As well as lots of progress for the tower itself, there was a 6 hr continuous pour today for a portion of the mat foundation, these are from yesterday evening before the concrete was poured this morning.
