NEW YORK | 343 Madison Ave | ~844 FT | 49 FLOORS

Form wise it may be the same but the design doesnt look the same at all.

I personally can’t wait until a new render is revealed and really hope this project moves forward.

I know KPF can do better.

Boston Properties tends to dictate more conservative designs, looking at their portfolio.

Boring design

I still think it’s a decent filler for the neighborhood. It will be heavily overshadowed by 270 Park, 1 Vanderbilt, and 520 Fifth in the immediate vicinity.

I just want to point out (this is not any sort of insider information) that we still need to be patient to hear any news of the tower itself, the LIRR entrance was always planned to be built out regardless of if a tower was ever built on the site, considering that that entrance is located where the current demolition is occurring per any renders we’ve seen, its possible that they are preparing to build it.

And even if there isn’t a tower, atleast there will be another nice new LIRR entrance.

How do they build the subway entrance without building the rest of the tower?

They are surely building whatever necessary structure to the tower while building the entrance, the 2 arent dependant on the other, but they “are” intertwined so to speak.
