NEW YORK | 300 East 83rd St (1594-1598 Second Ave) | 330 FT | 22 FLOORS

This one has taken an interesting tact regarding architectural design: not bad, but not GREAT. This building definitely rises above ‘generic’ architecture; but certainly is not in the league of a RAM visual feast of stone, glass and classical detailing.

That low rise building it replaces was a beauty; but this is a fine looking architectural addition too.

The big plus is the improved quantity & quality of the new homes being built at that location. The new building has large windows, and a greater height as well: the interior apartments will have ample natural light, and great views.

This is a win-win for the neighborhood.
