It’s New York City though, it’s not like they were forced to not wear masks. Most likely every single person there didn’t feel like it, in which case it’s fine. Lord foster could wear an N95 at his pleasure if he was worried…

I have a theory on why the renderings were so late. Is it possible that they were waiting to take extremely recent images with the new structure rising so they could reduce photoshopping?
I don’t think that was the reason, because basically all of the animations feature a fully CGI context model, and many of the stills have a clearly 3D modeled One Vanderbilt composited in which suggests the photos are quite out of date.

This tower is utterly magnificent, and the light show at night will be dazzling.
It would be the second tallest tower in Hong Kong.
And this is just the beginning. 175 Park will soon surpass it. Other towers will surpass 175 Park.

Did you watch the video of the design unveiling last week? I think the MC has been reading your posts on Yimby and SSP over the years because when Foster was done talking he said “Amen to the Lord!” I laughed out loud when I heard that.
