Has any project remotely this large ever proceeded this far in actual construction without an official rendering being released?
I’m frankly surprised that’s even legal. I feel like the public has a right to at least know what’s being built in their neighborhood.

we had to wait a long time for official renderings of Central Park Tower. Actually, I think YIMBY leaked that design too lol.

They are, but they were leaked — not officially released.

Also, so far none of the leaks have had a definitive depiction of the cladding on this building— the tabletop model does not seem to match the base renderings from the PoPS

This Bert guy on the other forum actually works at 383 Madison. Helluva lucky guy- not only does he get to work for a ‘vampire squid’ investment bank but he gets a birds eye view of one of the most ambitious skyscrapers in NY history.
