Holy crap the whole tower is almost gone.
How long do you think it will be until it is down? I am guessing around 2 weeks

The old tower has 13-14 floors left to come down. I assume they are doing 1-2 floors a week. So maybe by end of March? I think that was the original goal for demo anyway- end of March 21.

If, as it appears, this tower’s design is what Yimby reported almost two years ago, it will be the greatest skyscraper scoop in history. It will be like the NY Times Pentagon Papers story!
In my opinion, his prior greatest scoop was Extell’s Central Park Tower, but this will even exceed that. Indeed, Yimby is the Gordon Woodward of skyscraper news!!

I hope this skyscraper is built exactly like the last images. NYC deserves this gem. we were so afraid of Foster creating something bad, we prayed so much that it worked.
