NEW YORK | 270 Park Ave | 1,389 FT | 70 FLOORS

Great pics- we got a TKDV special today - what is your opinion on the rock wall after seen it on Sunday?

Oh lol my opinion is unchanged, it just looks poorly done, it’s entirely possible that any plantings could make it look even worse. That’s why I actually dislike renders, they provide a false sense of reality, not all of them, but the one render of the Madison Ave isn’t doing the real world application any favors.

But like someone mentioned before, atleast it will be mistly covered by trees.

I’m praying that construction elevator comes down in Spring. It’s always interesting to see these temporary structures attached to unfinished buildings, even the temporary elevator on 53W53 was impressive. But man I’m also impatient

They are testing lights again tonight.

Was hoping to get a view from the Midtown cam to better judge the lighting intensity but of course it’s choosing to focus on Times Square instead of its usual position.

Some more testing is going on right now:

Seems like they’re doing different sections.

It’s thankfully bright.

I found a Live Cam that shows Manhattan from Brooklyn and 270 makes an appearance next to 1 Vanderbilt.

It’s not the best quality though.
