Even without the remaining panels, it’s already amazing to see how 270 looks day and night (until the LEDs eventually work; I share @chused 's skepticism about this getting fully lit as we’d like) :scream: You can imagine the building getting brighter from the top each day and emitting its (eventual) signature glow! It’s been really awesome seeing this project get to this point over the past few years!

I like how 270 blocks the trashcan skyscraper

Today. In the latter two shots, you can see the sun reflecting off of the smaller vertical fins between the larger pilasters - a really nice effect that breaks up the facade.

I went to Dallas Saturday and, I often look at skyscrapers in Google Earth, but in person the scale of the buildings shocked me and I didn’t even go inside them. I mean Dallas, a city with just a few skyscrapers had me feeling like I were standing amongst giants. I cant wait to go to New York city where there are hundreds of skyscrapers and supertalls everywhere,

It’s definitely a unique city-scape. Chicago has some good skyscraper action as well but I don’t think anything beats NYC.

Personally, I’ve always thought the best views are at night from a high viewpoint. Standing and staring out a 60th or 70th floor window at night makes you feel like you’re flying above an ocean of lights.

It looks like interior work on some portions of the lobby is already complete, particularly the Madison Ave side.

Also there’s insulation being put up now on Madison Ave.

From the 25th, you can see they’d installed some of the diagrids for the skylights on the conference floor, its looks very see through now but it should get slightly darker/less see through when the skylight glass is also installed.

From the first image you can see that the conference floor glass is not more transparent than the typical office floor glass (compare to the corner under the crane base on the 3rd tier), its just that you can see through to the other side more. When there is no glass installed on the opposite side it is just “more” see through.

And some better pictures than the others I posted from Madison Ave. The interior of the lobby on this side is definitely finished.

The lobby of the Comast Technology Center was open to the public while it was finishing construction. Hopefully they do the same with this project
