@5Bfilms nice detailed close up capture of the upper portion! :+1:

For those that previously thought that there was going to be another crane installed from the one video posted a few weeks back, those were not new crane parts on the upper floor, they were the disassembled portions of the previous crane that was on the NW corner. The disassembled crane parts are not immediately lowered after they are taken apart from the main assembly. There won’t be another crane built besides a possible derrick crane to remove the remaining crane that will just jump itself up to be able to install the steel for the last tier.

The crown steel, like One Vanderbilt’s will be built of galvanized steel, as is already visible at the slices in the footprint of the last tier. It unfortunately appears like this will not top out this year, but time will tell, very doubtful though.

There was not a lot of activity going on yesterday from what I could see. I don’t think the crane moved at all while I was there.

Sometimes work is done on the weekends and sometimes there isn’t, you can’t really know when it comes to the weekend, especially for this building.

137 more feet till it tops out, and the facade is 9 floors away from reaching the second setback

I’d add 4 or so more feet for the splices. Always account for the splices! :relieved:
