I (as a historian) estimate that this presentation model costs about 80-100.000€ because it was made very detailed.

That’s way too high, the model is not as big as perceived, though it is detailed, it’s not anywhere the level of detail that would make it cost that much.

It was absurdly windy yesterday so I was struggling to take a stable photo. The building will actually still appear fairly wide from this perspective. I suspect that new steel will be installed this week.
A lot of the cylinder base cladding has been installed.

I took some photos from a similar vantage point weeks ago and I think it’s really dependant on the weather conditions.

Looks like a lot of those old buildings in those photos could use a nice pressure wash and some deep cleaning and they’ll be returned to their true glory. The griminess and also lack of trees/plants, etc. really makes the area look bleak.

I can’t even comment on the situation because I didn’t even see the post before it was deleted and/or I got off work.
I thought there was a general discussion with @chris08876 about how some articles were okay to post vs some that really don’t contribute or difference of opinions etc, wasn’t it even on this thread? Let’s just all be civil
What was the post about because just saying HK one would just automatically not associate it with this tower.

I don’t have an issue with it and restored it.
I did edit it and removed the HK reference. What could be interpreted as a bash on HK.
In general for all, let’s be mindful of what we flag and remove (this includes other mods). If you want to discuss, take it to PM. This is a discussion forum and granted, some posts are not literal to the exact discourse of the title but if we have to be draconian about what we can and can’t post, it does no one any good.
There is leeway folks and this is also directed towards the leadership here.
First, unless absolute necessary, edit the post, removed what could be interpreted as bad if it is indeed way off topic or risk polarizing folks. Just don’t hit the delete button…
And if edited, advise the poster what was edited.
Delete is last resort but always try to question if its really value added to delete.
We didn’t build this forum by being draconian… instead, we encourage discussion and ideas.
