This is simply a value judgement, in other words, your attitude about the matter: so I can not say you are wrong.
My attitude is the Chrysler Building is a ‘period piece’ , an historical icon above and beyond all others, even the empire state building. So to see that crown lit up in any thing other than white light would be very ‘off-putting’ to say the least.
I respect your opinion, but lets keep that Classic Chrysler Building - CLASSY.
