I feel like once there’s more development passed the Major Deegan Expressway heading east towards the train station, it’ll feel less shady haha

Is it “Maven” or “Mavin”?

Actually, who cares?

Maven = Mott Haven Mavin? lol

Yeah I think it’s Mott + Haven = Maven. This tower looks great in person, I’d say much better than the Bankside towers beside it.

there’s another building next to this one behind bankside that I have no idea what it could be.

Well. Apparently it’s this new building that shot up quickly. I have absolutely no idea where this building came from, lol. - street view @YIMHudson

That’s the building under construction in the center of this image from July. It was already past half it’s final height in that image.

Mini Williamsburg maybe in a few years. The trek from the 4 train is ridiculously long too though. They need some tram service or something.

It is like they built a mini-city in no time - I wonder how the Museum of Hip Hop will impact the area

It’s in a desolate location. I hope it gets the business it deserves. Please take more photos of Bronx waterfront development. I love to see it.

another place you should check out regularly (if you don’t already) for low rise development is East Harlem. They’re building up over there exponentially. I believe I saw some pics from you highlighting Sendero Verde @Alemel

I’ll get pictures next time around.
The Sendero’s pics weren’t mine; I would love to know more about what’s happening in East Harlem.
