Pictury + Marvel Architects | 205 Montague St

Located next to Brooklyn Bridge, a new 700 feet high-rise building will stand with views to the well known financial district of Lower Manhattan and some of the most notorious towers of the city in the other side of the bay.

The building will be one of the more relevant and prominent projects in the Brooklyn Heights area, consisting of luxurious residentials with privileged common areas and office spaces in its base.

didn’t expect to hear anything about that tower again. I wonder if it has a developer?

This looks amazing. Will be a huge change for the Brooklyn skyline.

This is beautiful, and it’s an added bonus to get rid of this garbage!

Supreme Kings across the street needs to go next. It’s disgusting!!

So this is just an architecture firm showing a concept render, not a real project, right?

200 Montague Starting to rise.
205 across the st still has the bank and some offices still open.

The crap that used to be here for reference. This new one is a huge improvement and really ties the block together.

This is almost certainly topped out.

Supreme Kings must come down. It’s a disgusting eyesore in a prominent location, and its filthy, garbage status is a mockery of justice. I’d like to see a new one rise at the base of a new residential tower, and then see the current piece of junk sold and razed.

I doubt that’s coming down any time soon. But yes, it’s filthy. The whole building desperately needs a good power-washing.

I agree. It’s just on my wish list.

Really nice facade:

This feels like it’s taking a while to wrap up.

Take a look at these “facade components” and that may explain the delay. This type of richly detailed facade is a brilliant idea for making ‘stand out’ Architecture while keeping a rather simple (boxy) form factor on the overall shape of the building.

They are using what I might refer to as ‘jewel box’ material to intricately detail that facade. Very Nice.
