I meant the rules on politics in this forum, which is why I did not take my comment one step further.
Back to the original question, which I think is an interesting one. Politics factor in to development, so there’s no dancing around it. Will Trump (who will wield outsized power over the federal government) prevent the development of this project because it will replace what was one of the most important milestones in his real estate career? My guess? Trump is transactional: if there’s something in it for him, even bragging rights for having “created” the new development, he’ll support it.
For those too young to know or remember, here’s how the Trump org describes 175 Park:

It sure would be awesome if all three supertalls 175, 350 Park Ave and 625 Madison Ave. were under construction together. Hopefully 45 East 45th Street will be added.
We’ll likely have 6+ supertalls rising at the same time in The City if everything goes according to plan.
350 Park Avenue (1600’)
175 Park Avenue (1580’)
Hudson Yards Phase II (1376’, 1189’, 1180’)
625 Madison Avenue (1220’-1400’)
Just off the top of my head
And that’s just the start.
There will come a day NYC has 100 supertalls.
Add 41 W 57th to that list.
What do you mean “there’s no way”, Citadel is by far the biggest tenant and they’ve already decided on 1,600. There’s literally nothing to even guess here.
Did you miss the people actually building the tower explicitly saying that the building is around 1600’?
Also, I’m not sure you know Ken Griffin’s personality. He’s definitely not “non-flashy ‘speak softly and carry a big stick’ attitude” kinda guy.
Thought this would be a good project to talk about on IG
Cool - just started following you @Skyalign
I realized there’s not that many people posting video format of all the news we come across so figured why not give it a shot. And thanks for the follow!
This is information that we should always teach the public. Not AI generated and AI narrated Youtube Shorts
Yeah those are so annoying
I’m posting them on YouTube as well in case anyone is interested in subscribing. Eventually I’ll do long format videos too.
As someone who produces video, I would encourage you to be mindful that the audio is just as important, if not more so, than the pictures
Thanks for the advice. I was aware my audio is not great and needs improvement and will work on bettering in videos moving forward!
I know how much work can go into these, and it would just be a shame for the audio to not be on par with your excellent imagery. I cannot vouch for this kit myself but I know someone who just picked it up and was raving about it.
Something like this I would think would be a bare minimum in the field.
DJI Mic Mini 2-Person Compact Wireless Microphone System for Camera & Smartphone (2.4 GHz)
Not suggesting you need to go to town with a sound devices / tascam pre-mix and countryman mic or anything but good enough audio should be a huge help in gaining an audience.
I have a DJI Mic 2 that came with the Osmo Pocket 3, but the iPhone has a known issue where the main camera doesn’t recognize Bluetooth audio and defaults to using the built-in microphones. So, having another mic with a separate receiver and transmitter would make a big difference.
I have the previous generation of these Sennheisers and they were great when paired with a mix-pre into my Canon 5D.

The advice I was given by an audio pro years ago goes: Your video can be awesome but if your audio sucks, so does your video.
