The crane came down this past weekend. For those worried about the checkerboard look, those are just some protective film covering the actual glass. I noticed some were partially peeled several months ago but I assumed underneath they’d match the protective film.

Actually it looks completely different. Underneath the film is a very slick matte gunmetal color. The difference in color between windows is very subtle. Sorry no pic.

I’ll take back what I said previously. The appearance changes depending upon the angle. From street level the panels with the white film removed are really reflective and look bright white. So it will absolutely look pixelated after all.
