Nashville must be full of idiots to think that this will be a worthwhile investment. If they wanted to build a tunnel, they should of threw down some rails and made it train tunnel. Doesn’t even have to be heavy rail but a light metro or similar automated system would be a vast improvement that would have real utility.
Plus an actual transit tunnel would have plenty of opportunity to be expanded to accommodate new routes and services.
