Well I feel the idea is to develop a Midtown West Redevelopment Area that would include the PABT ,the Empire Station Complex and the extension of Hudson Yards to the north until 42nd Street.
Not to dismiss that the NYCHA is redeveloping the social housing eyesore located south of the whole area.
By 2035-2040 that area will be Western World Financial Centre. Nothing to envy to Tokyo’s or Singapore financial districts.
