Definitely fits into the Miami style of buildings this architect is known for. Looks like The Ellipse is getting an architectural brother.

Hot!!! I always emphasized the need for more Miami-esque development.

Miami has a lot of quality towers going up and they are mostly within the same height ranges of Jersey City. Hell I’m zesty enough to want a Miami Art Deco scene just to bring it full circle.

Also I didn’t know that Miami has the largest collection of Art Deco buildings in the world. Astonishing.

Art deco is in Miami Beach, a separate municipality from the City of Miami.

LeFrak, the developer of the famed Newport section of Jersey City, will break ground later this year or early 2025 on a 47-story, 529-unit multifamily project tentatively known as 20 Long Slip. It will be the tallest building in the Newport neighborhood.

Charles Burton, the head of government and community relations for LeFrak, said the only reason the building won’t be taller is because it’s not allowed to be — its height is limited by FAA regulations due to its proximity to Newark Liberty International Airport

Yet down the road in Jersey city there is the Goldman Sachs tower, which has to be taller🤔
