DETROIT | Hudson's Site (1000 E Grand River Ave) | 680 FT | FLOORS

This project has no financing. Right now all they’re doing is expanding the garage.

Probably should be listed as more of a vision. There will be something built here, but details are unclear.

The guy who owns it just sold one of his casinos to raise a bunch of capitol. They seem strapped for cash.

Doubt this is happening, if it does, it’s probably going to be a dud.

680 ft, that’s shorter than the Renaissance Center

I live right across the river from Detroit (In :canada:) and I gotta say I’m super bummed this won’t be the tallest but I just hope I’ll still be able to see the 680ft version from our side of the river.

One of those early renderings looked a lot like the new JP Morgan Chase HQ.

Detroit’s Hudson’s Tower Could Move Faster With New Talent On Team

Deadline Detroit

“The Hudson’s site remains a hole in the ground on Woodward Avenue. The planned tower was once going to be Detroit’s tallest building at 900 feet, but was re-designed to be 680 feet, putting it below the Renaissance Center’s tallest tower.”
