Is Crown Heights beginning to get gentrified?
Heavily gentrified above Eastern Parkway towards the park. PLG as well. Gentrification is making its way more and more towards Lincoln Terrace Park

It might be a new development near the Bedford Armory or a project on Franklin Avenue; I’d recommend checking with local zoning or building permits for more details.

Brian Ezra, a partner at the real estate firm Avery Hall Investments, filed an application with the Department of City Planning last week looking to rezone a stalled Crown Heights development site in order to facilitate a new 18-story building with about 250 dwelling units at 1550 Bedford Ave., records show. The long-vacant lot does not currently allow for residential development.
Avery Hall, an active developer in Gowanus and Downtown Brooklyn, purchased the 19,2000-square-foot site between Eastern Parkway and Union Street for $10.1 million last year. The seller was Yoel Goldman, who had planned to build a luxury hotel before filing for bankruptcy.
The proposed project would span a total of about 173,000 square feet, containing 250 apartments, roughly 75 of which would be set aside as affordable. It would also include nearly 15,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, likely occupied by retail.
