It feels like there’s a trend of taking underperforming horse racing courses and putting NFL stadiums on them. Would like to see the Giants and Jets take Aqueduct and maybe Empire City Casino and do a similar thing.

They want the ability to own the surrounding entertainment properties of the stadium so that they can generate revenue from leases. The dome on Solider Field would have never been enough to keep them. I am definitely AGAINST giving One Central any kind of tax funding or incentives, but I wouldn’t mind the new dome on Solider Field.
