Another ugly tower coming near you!
NJIT is building a new 17 story, 210 foot tower at 155 Summit Street in Newark NJ that will house 454 beds within 152 apartments. Completion date is scheduled for Summer 2027

It’s not lost on me that NJIT has a School of Architecture and this is the design of their new residence halls… HCAD has great professors that teach architecture there, they should have had a say. (speaking as an alumnus haha).

Viewed from afar, the NJIT logo looks like a hotel chain. I guess this is why this tower reminds me of an airport hotel.
