we’ll see… there’s been a number of highrise proposals lately but only 2 or 3 have been built. 1 Theater Square and the first Shaq Tower are the only ones that come to mind.

Update: I’m late but the towers design has been revealed but it appears to be stalled. According to the Newark reddit sub, the tower was waiting on the Aspire grant to continue last time I checked

The thing about these affordable housing requirements in Newark is that they dont work without millions of dollars in government subsidies (Aspire grants) and if they don’t receive them, then the projects until the money is available.
