I’m so glad they upgraded the tower lights and antenna with those LEDs. Part of the magic of recent holiday lightings has been the digitalization of the lighting system. So many more colors, patterns, and chase sequences than before.

The greatest building in the history of the world. Truly a remarkable achievement by man and a fitting symbol of the “arrival” of the United States.

The first time I saw her across the Hudson, I nearly wept.

So much history. So much she represents. Just imagine the feelings of those immigrants from Europe as they looked at this enormous building from Ellis Island.

What a difference! The crown and spire looks great now. I love it when we are treated to a surprise like this. This project was totally under the radar.

They’ve repainted all the fins right? That one painted fin looks like it’s made out of silver and the rest made out of tin.
