NEW YORK | Rose Hill (30 East 29th St) | 639 FT | 46 FLOORS

Glad to see the facade is now more streamlined, rather than being littered throughout with balconies as in the earlier render. However, I do dislike how the north facing balconies below the setback throw off the building’s symmetry.

Still, excited to see this rise–particularly that lovely crown and base!

I love the fact that we’re living in a time of Art Deco Revival. That building looks beautiful.

Looks good so far. Can’t wait to see more detail at the base.

a bit flatter than rendered. The windows look stunning though.

the set back is absolutely horrible,
and I just can’t get the past that little walk up to the right that will always remain there

I always like to wait to make a final call until a building is complete. But this one has good potential. The facade looks good. The set back may not be as fine given the way it breaks up the street building line. So wait and see makes sense to me.
