The color?

Beyond the color (I agree it is a weird choice) I love the sense of drama that the curves add to this corner.

So the crown is exposed concrete? Not a fan of this trend at all.

They haven’t added any of the metal panelling to it yet.

I’d assume but for the giant piece of podium that’s missing because of the construction elevator! :sweat_smile:

I’d argue that the crown on 1717 Broadway is better, and that’s just a glass elongated cube with opaque glass

If this building had glass like that on at least two sides, and a half-decent crown (or just a non-terrible one), it really could have been a stunner. Oh well! Street level is nice though.
