The concrete contractor came up proud I was taking pictures of “my building”. He said he expected to be finished by September, maybe October.

Good to see he is proud of the work being done on “his building” - that’s called taking ‘ownership’ of your craft…bravo.
If that concrete contractor is proud of his work; it probably because he knows how to achieve a tight-consolidation in his slabs. 
It is all about doing a lot of “vibrating”.
