does this mean the building’s height will have to be reduced?

re-read the title of the document…

“Determination of No Hazard” means the FAA found the height of the proposed development does not conflict with flight zones in the area it’s being built in.

Basically, no the building does not have to shrink.

glad its not being reduced. i was confused despite the title. the phrase “the proposed building project has been identified as obstructions” is throwing me off

Thanks for the photo Sidestreet..

Funny the things one notices in on these construction sites! I saw these large pieces of glass, then realized they were Plexi glass.

I then wondered why they would need those pieces of plexiglass on an excavation job?

Then, OH! … It came to me: the obvious conclusion. :grimacing:

I will let others figure out what now seems obvious.

Tough job for Beyer Blinder Belle to design something that’ll go well with 520 Park Ave and not look crowded on the skyline.

No one KNOWS, or cares to guess.

My guess is the plexiglass is goiing to be cut into small squares and put on the small ‘porthole’ opening that are cut into the wood construction barrier fences. Why those small viewing openings in the construction fences need plexiglass is optional; as many construction sites leave them as open without any plexiglass.

If there are any construction Super Intendants, PM Project Managers, Formans or trade contractors on site: please confirm or negate my conjecture on the plexiglass. :wolf:

Looks like a reflection, not actually on the site.
