Cool!
I was in a lucky position to be stuck in traffic.
Couple of developments can be seen. (zoom in - high res)

That photo reminds me of one of the first renders released for this build!
I cannot wait until they finally remove the orange netting on the open sections so that we can take in its full effect
^^yes, you’re right. It does look very much like it.

It’s appearance from this angle is incredible. It just dwarfs everything
It’s appearance from ANYWHERE is incredible. I recall on our last trip into the city my dad saying “What is that building towering over the ESB?”
I agree. It looks amazing.
To an extent. If you’re on the Hudson waterfront you don’t get the towering appearance due to the positioning of 432 being closer to the East River. As you move further west though it begins to loom higher and higher.
This is why I’m so excited for CPT. It will have the same dramatic effect but on the west Side of Manhattan so if you’re on the Hudson River it will just dwarf everything
I agree.
Well yes. I remember having a sort of disconnect when seeing the tower just a couple blocks away. It felt small and it confused me… because just a little while ago I had seen it in the distance and it was HUGE.
I have had the same experience too. It’s hard to appreciate the height when you’re up close since it’s uniform in design. Just remember each window is 10’x10’ and that keeps it in perspective
