Yet it’s not as imposing or noticable as One Vandy. It’s just a blocky mess that only respects the city’s zoning

I really liked the old building that it demolished. So much of classics are being replaced by bland crap.

Not every building has to be a supertall masterpiece. Once renders of the two together come out i’m sure many will see the vision.

I don’t know if this building is a loss, but everyone has their own opinion on that. Personally, I have to say that the buildings that have been demolished recently, as well as those currently being demolished, are not a loss.

Despite my comments beforehand, I do agree with this. Sure this building does step back to allow more lighting as requested from the city since the 1920’s, but I feel like when built it will get lost in the skyline. Like the buildings along Park Avenue that were built in the 1950’s. FMC Tower is a very basic design, and I really like it. This building to me lacks character, plus the highlights around each floor then fading away towards the top just reminds me of One Vanderbilt
