From my New York model.

Not sure how they’re cladding the core in the back since I only have the one image to go off of. Hopefully its more interesting ha.

A box and a blank wall? Talk about adding insult to injury.

Fantastic render as always.

I hope it ends up being much taller.

It’s supposed to be over 1,000’. I can’t imagine that KPF will deliver such a fetid and odious box.

I don’t think this tower is intended to be an icon so KPF and BP will likely go conservative with the design. It can still be a handsome design.

My only point is that I’ve never seen KPF do a simple, vanilla box.

At the very least it may have some nice dynamic cladding that they tend to do on their office projects. Something like the heron tower in London would be nice enough I think.

I forgot about the Heron Tower by KPF. That one is kind of lame.

Thankfully this slide seems to indicate this is not the final design.

Don’t thank the Lord yet, it could get worse. LOL

I don’t think that it can get lamer than that. KPF almost always does nice work.

Further, given the small floor plates, I suspect that this tower will be aimed at very high-end financial firms that will probably not want to pay $150/sf to be in a non-descript building.
