There are signs though that it is being taken down very slowly compared to where it was in late May.

I believe those floors are already being used on the inside, so probably they are not allowed to work on disassembly during the workday so as not to disturb the occupants. That would slow things down a lot.
The elevator is connected to the building is such a way that it’s disassembly wouldnt affect the interior conditions. The facade is also nearly closed up but for a few panels and there should be temporary partitions on the inside around the missing panels that would also allow it to be disassembled without interfering with interior operations. So there’s definitely some other reason its taking so long to come down.
Regardless it is coming down albeit just very slowly. And at this point it actually is no longer connected to the building (via gangways) to be functioning in a construction loading capacity.

Just a thougt on the future:
Imagine when 275P grows to old to be refurbed with present-day technology, and the think tanks involved with its inevitable transformation get to work, we see a massive beauty like this one going vertical. I’d wager that it would be a near-twin just as they both were for over half a century.

Managed to catch 270’s crown lights going off at midnight. Interestingly, a picture of what looks like a firefighters’ helmet was left on the display. Any idea what this means?
