Foster must love @ThreeWentDown ‘s work. Expect a hiring application I guess!

Larger firms never use their own inhouse made renders, they always contract a 3rd party visualization studio (like DBOX) to do their public professional renders.

They can take professional shots at this stage already and not install this only to be removed soon (finishes are going to surround it).

I think it’s a bit tacky to put a photo of the building itself there somewhy.

Well not really since the construction elevator is still signficantly visible, would be easier to wait for it to come down than try to photoshop it out of a professional photo.

I’m slightly confused by the 2nd half of your first sentence, the led screen littered throughout the elevator lobbies are permanent. Sure their frames havent been fully completed but the screens themselves are permanent.

I do agree with your last statement though, It definitely is strange to have a photo of the building inside it, itd be like the screens in 4 WTCs lobby showing photos of 4 WTC.

Well, they can take a photo of one side I mean. Also, I thought it’s a banner they’re lighting in a frame and not a screen

Putting up something like Van Goch’s paintings would make it perfect.

Any guesses as to what’s going on at the base of the “green wall?” Will this be filled with soil and vegetation or will there be some sort of water feature?

Unless things have changed they’re supposed to just be shallow ponds.

The lighting looks fantastic in the original, sorry for the many pictures.

I have yet to see the nighttime lighting up close. Definitely have to catch it.

Great pics! One thing I didn’t notice before are the random LEDs shining down from the top of the base that seem to be placed without any sort of rhyme or reason (pics 7-9 of @Mackensen’s set) :face_with_raised_eyebrow: Not the end of the world, but….why??

Lighting at 99.9% on the Southern front.

We’re sooo close to seeing the full thing. It’s looking great, and the lighting up front, in addition to being able to have the temperature changed, seems to be dimmable too. It’s looking fantastic.

Yeah. Definitely exceeded my expectations or any rendering. It has the best lighting of any Skyscraper outside of Asia, it seems. Once they got the temperature/brightness down, it looks incredible. Just kind of wish it was extended down to the 4th tier.

View from Summit, this is a very popular motif among tourists.

I noticed that the lighting change is only activated later. At first, it seems as if it only changes the motifs (schemes) later.
