Nice little injection of affordable housing into this complex. More NYCHA and Mitchell Lama developments need the added boost of density, and this is the way to do it.
Very odd design. The base and tower seem wildly out of sync to me.
This is one ugly a$$ building. Just walked by it.
It’s surrounded by NYCHA on all sides. Did anyone except anything other than architectural mediocrity?
So whai if the design is mediocre: “society needed a housing project.”
Let us not repeat Howard Roark’s mistake; and metaphorically ‘blow-up” this building. ![]()
Cheers
Very nice infill! But it’s time to reclad the masonry buildings next door.
Those are housing projects.
this made me chuckle
An additional reason to make them aesthetically pleasing.
Nobody’s going to pay for that. It’s expensive just to maintain them.
