I wasn’t expecting this building to have such an impact from Central Park. Does anybody know how much taller it will go?

Cladding going up on the main tower (hard to see from the street)

While the cladding does sort of fit in with One57 and CPT, it doesn’t impress. The stylized gothic designs on the lower podium seem to be etched into or printed onto the glass rather than being discrete metal pieces and as such are really hard to see.

Interesting observation, I havent walked past this site in a few months. I never expected them to be fins since the renders never showed them as such but your pictures really do emphasize how they would looked better as actual articulations rather than what appears to just be a frit on the glass.

In fact, it’d almost be better to have those as fins rather than the other vertical elements… oh well.
