The Target is going through a full renovation soon. Should look great!

Hate to say it, but the Target won’t look great until it’s renovated into a 60-story building! It’s zoned for 60 story buildings but it’s owned by Newport and it’s one of the last lots they’ll redevelop.

Haha, I can agree with that. I could totally see Target eventually moving to Newport Mall as one of its anchor tenants perhaps. Who knows how much longer the Sears or JCPenney will last. It would free up the site for redevelopment. But unfortunately not happening anytime soon considering the amount of money they put in this renovation. I could see the shopping plaza with the Best Buy and ACME or the plaza with Staples getting torn down first.
