SMCYB is quoting what the article you posted said because they are not a CTBUH member. You can’t view some older CTBUH articles after a certain length of time unless you are a member.

Also, please just stop using the term unbuilt, just stop. Use cancelled, visionary, or proposed because no matter how many times I’ve told you unbuilt does not mean cancelled, you’ve continued to use it as such.

I don’t like the project anymore.

I actually like it better at this height. I like the top better too; it doesn’t look like monkey bars anymore. I wish it were a little taller, but I thought it looked too thin before, and its design isn’t worthy of being the tallest in Austin.
