The Yonkers waterfront is experiencing an influx of development. Yonkers is the city in Westchester County immediately north of the Bronx along the Hudson River. 15-story building, 156 apartments, 153 parking spots (Yonkers requires waaay too much parking near the train station if they want to revitalize downtown retail and encourage residential development, IMO). ^^^Saw that article. Ludlow is way underutilized, and right near the NYC border. Perfect for transit-oriented development. The plan looks great. But it has to survive the NIMBY gauntlet because it requires a big rezoning. Don’t want to get my hopes up too much yet. ---
