I guess every city needs a new modern torch. I can’t wait to see the Torch of Philadelphia which is a 2,350 foot tall 300 million sqft box that’s just illuminated from the interior with no purpose other than structural engineering and lighting(like the lantern of the Comcast Technology Center). Construction will be completed in 2,776

With just 63 floors, it has the square footage of 1WTC and the ESB combined, that’s crazy.
The core/perimeter ratio is larger than i expected, so lack of natural light is not an issue.
They’re servicing over 5 million square feet without a single skylobby.

From June 13th to September 9th, Torch Tower has now reached to around 36 floors and has recently passed the 200-meter (656 ft) mark. It’s really starting to dominate the area around Tokyo Station now. Still another 26 floors to go!
