I wonder if it’s some kind of resonance issue, perhaps exacerbated by new construction in the area? It’s a 20 year old building and I haven’t heard of it having any issues before.

the mast on this building is a giant tuning fork. The shaking is likely resonance in the steel structure which is normal and probably occurs all the time but this time happened to be strong enough for people to notice.
