Port Chester is looking for a master developer. The earthwork for United Hospital / Westchester Crossing is really impressive - multiple 50’ to 70’+ piles of dirt, but Route 1 is too hectic to try taking pictures out the window while driving and I didn’t feel like walking all the way down from downtown. Will definitely be worth checking out once they start building buildings though. ---

This is in the Village of Rye Brook, just north of the Village of Port Chester. Its busy but not on the scale of LaGuardia which has about 10x more flights per day. I believe the nearby development has extra sound mitigation measures designed into their structures (triple glaze, extra insulation etc); I imagine this development would do similar. ---

Demolition is well underway. I’ll try and get a photo to share soon. Funding now secured for the project. I imagine developers are locking in funding now before an anticipated rate hike . This is quite a visible project for Port Chester, I’m glad its underway having sat derelict (and caught fire) for so long. Its been an eyesore to look at.
