It was put on hold when Congestion Pricing was delayed. Congestion pricing has been in effect for almost a year now and nothing has been announced regarding the Chambers Street renovation. They did give it some attention during the ADA upgrades but it since has reverted to its prior state. ---

At New Haven Union Station, an interior mock-up of the new CTRail cars was unveiled. The inclusion of bike storage, large, spacious restrooms, wheelchair space and ample luggage room are welcome, plus those are some of the biggest windows I’ve seen on a regular commuter train. That’s the intention: to run on CTRail’s diesel powered routes to replace older rolling stock such as the Mafersa and Comet cars. They’re also expected to arrive starting next year.
