It is a bit strange Riverside Church has dominated the UWS skyline for years now it will have two towers of similar height right next to it. While the Supertall boom in midtown is extraordinary I think the true signifier of our favorite phrase “The Age of Ramses” is the number tall buildings being brought to neighborhoods like the Upper West Side, the Highline redevelopement, Long Island City, Flushing, and Downtown Brooklyn.

I just hope the Stern tower in UTS balances this out. Riverside church, a thin tower, and this block should be a nice grouping.

this is superior to whatever Stern will concoct. This tower actually has facade detail. Stern’s are notoriously flat and asymmetric. But yes, hopefully the Seminary tower will t least compliment this well.
