Whether this happens or not, the Coliseum site Lighthouse project, Coli redevelopment, Nassau Hub, Casino is everything wrong with Long Island government and development. You name it, it’s proabably died a slow bureaucratic death here. Central Nassau could have had potential but decades and decades of red tape and we get what we’ve got. I’m not even super pro-casino here. It’s just exhausting watching project after project come and go. ---
