Like I said, do we really want to get into this back-and-forth bickering about politics on a forum about construction?
I don’t want to drive away users by being too harsh in moderation, but I don’t want this forum to devolve into an unfocused Facebook-like sh\*tshow free-for-all.
I don’t know what to do.
I’ve been criticized for moderating in the past. So fine, I’ll just leave everything and let some other mod decide.

You are a great Mod.
You have been quite fair minded. However, Mods often do more harm than they do help - here is some insight into the issue.
This issue is well know, and openly discussed on various other discussion: the ‘petty tyrant’ problem. **There is no easy answer to this problem.**

I assume he means from the location of MSG I and II at Madison and 26th or MSG III at 8th between W 49/50th. I assume there’s nothing left of any of them but would be happy to be wrong if someone knows better.

I don’t think there are any remains of MSG 2, as this building was completely demolished in the mid-1920s. I found a picture on Getty-Images of the statue of Diana (standing next to a group of men). I suspect that the statue may still exist.

The old MSG boxing ring is up at the boxing hall of fame in upstate New York.

Admission is only $15.50, about half of what it costs to visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art. They probably have free parking as well.
Just keep in mind that the boxing hall of fame, for reasons I can never understand, is closed on December 26.

Besides the inane planning of theirs, the renders themselves are such a hodgepodge….the way they stick the original entry ontop of 2Penn is a sad attempt….classical and contemporary can work together but the way they exhibit it is mediocre.

They don’t seem to take into account 2 Penn exists and is undergoing an extensive renovation so it’s removal is unlikely to impossible in the next several decades. It’d be more realistic if they deleted MSG and put the half of Penn that faces the Farley Post Office building. At least that’s more believable. The biggest critique of mine is that Penn is still a basement and this is honestly no better than just keeping MSG in it’s place.
However, it seems like the current renderings acknowledge 2 Penn’s existence (their website surely doesn’t).
